What recipe for chocolate do you use for chocolate covered strawberries? Always before I just melted chocolate almond bark and dipped them, but this is the first time I've been asked to place them on a cake. What do you use?

I don't worry too much. Unless you can temper chocolate without a problem I would use candy melts not almond bark. The Merken's candy melts are really good.
I like using ganache. That way the chocolate doesn't break when you bit into it.
