I just did a religious themed cake that was a big hit- I did the Wedding at Cana "water to wine". My technique is a little sloppy- still working on that... but everyone loved the idea. It's in my photos if you need a little inspiration!

I had run a few other ideas through my head- I thought about doing the stained glass window from the Vatican (if it's a Catholic confirmation, this would make more sense). I was going to color pieces of isomalt and put them on a round cake... seemed like it would be a hassle though, since I had never used isomalt before!
