I am going to be making a 3D rubber duck cake. Any suggestions on what the best cake recipe is for carving cakes? I am thinking I need something sturdy. I typically use WASC for my cakes, but I'm not sure if I need a more dense cake for this project... like maybe pound cake?

Any tips would be appreciated! icon_biggrin.gif

I've actually been using kakeladi's WASC recipe for my carved cakes and it works really well. I love it.

Here is the link to her recipe if you need it. thumbs_up.gif
