I am looking for some help creating an eiffel tower. I am some what new so I am not too sure about carving, but I saw a few cakes that had small eiffel towers on the top. Can anyone give me tips or instructions on how to make an eiffel tower either out of chocolate, carving or fondant? You ladies are a godsend....any tips would be appreciated!

Thanks, Julie

I really don't do carved cakes but I would think that you can do it out of melted chocolate on wax paper and wait till it dries. Then use more chocolate to glue the sides together and then use more chocolate to glue it to the top of the cake. There maybe a chocolate mold out there and it would be easier.

ANOTHER IDEA WOULD BE TO BUILD IT OUT GUMPASTE. YOUCOULD DO EACH SIDE IT DRY THEN GLUE IT TOGETHER WITH EDIBLE GLUE. MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN THAT GUMPASTE IS MUCH STRONGER THAN CHOCOLATE, FONDANT, ROYAL ICING ETC. i HAVE TO SAY CHOCOLATE OR CAKE CERTAINLY TASTE BETTER THOUGH!!!!!
