I am contemplating purchasing an agbay. I can't decide whether I want to get the single blade or the double. I understand that there is an updated version that you can add a blade to convert to a double cutter. Has anyoone purchased the updated version? I appreciate your responses

Just get the single blade and save the money.

It is my understanding, the single blade model has been redesigned so that you can add the second blade if and when you want to

Dh called Agbay today (spoke with Maureen, I believe). She told him that for a hobby baker, she recommends the single blade, because it is so easy to make a "second pass" to cut a second time after adjusting the blade height. At a busy bakery, being able to do it in one pass could be enough of a time saver to make it worth it.
