This may be a dumb question, but does someone know if you can bake with extra cake batter a day or two later? I can't find anything in the forums about this.
I place my extra batter in a sourcream container and label with what kind and the date I placed it in the freezer. Thaw it on the counter or in the fridge and bake at a later date.
hmmm . . . its been discussed many times. Yes, leftover batter can be refrigerated. I couldn't survive without saving batter. Nor could any bakery.
Thanks. I thought it could be reused. Sorry to ask a redundant question - I guess I looked under the wrong headings.
