I have a wonder mold pan that i have lost the heat conductor that goes with it, and ideas for what could be substituted for it.
I went to 7 Eleven and they have Metal Straws for around a dollar in there slurpee section. I think that should work - but I haven't tried it yet.
I made my own parts using copper pipe and stainless steel bolt and nuts. Posted about it a little while back.
Here is the link...the pictures are toward the bottom of the pages.

The website that we do not mention on here use to sell the heating core and bolts for about $7. But by the time you add shipping, you can afford to buy a new pan!
I had received a free wonder mold from a friend but was missing the core. I e-mailed Wilton asking if you could purchase the heating core and they sent me one with the bolt for free. I told them my situation and they were very helpful. HTH
