Missing Part For Wonder Mold

I have a wonder mold pan that i have lost the heat conductor that goes with it, and ideas for what could be substituted for it.

I went to 7 Eleven and they have Metal Straws for around a dollar in there slurpee section. I think that should work - but I haven't tried it yet.

I made my own parts using copper pipe and stainless steel bolt and nuts. Posted about it a little while back.

The website that we do not mention on here use to sell the heating core and bolts for about $7. But by the time you add shipping, you can afford to buy a new pan!

I had received a free wonder mold from a friend but was missing the core. I e-mailed Wilton asking if you could purchase the heating core and they sent me one with the bolt for free. I told them my situation and they were very helpful. HTH
