Hi! I'm trying to color mmf a bunch of different colors, but I can't seem to get the colors dark enough. Will they intensify overnight? How much?

Thanks!

Katie

One thing that helps me is to warm the fondant in the microwave a few seconds because if it's cold and stiff the colors do not integrate as well. And yes some colors ripen over night, usually the darker and mor rich the color, especially red, black, and blue.

I start coloring my MMF several days in advance, especially for reds and blacks. I will add color as deep as I can get it for one day, let it sit overnight, go back the next day and repeat.... The color will intensify the longer it sits.

It also helps to add color to the melted marshmallows before you add the powdered sugar.
