I was doing a FBCT for a harry potter cake. It was the gryffindor crest. Super detailed and intricate designs. I got it all done, looked great from the other side, no air bubbles or missed spots or smears. Then DH asks "cool, how do you get it off the glass."

I forgot to put the wax paper or saran wrap on the glass first.

It stuck, I had to start over....of course the redo doesn't look as good as my first try....

Oh, no! How aweful. I feel for you.... How long did it take?

OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so so so so sorry!....

it took about an hour to do. Worst part is DH waits until everything is cleaned up and washed to say something.

I got it done and on the cake so all is well.
