Once again I am finding myself in a pickle. I am helping a co-workers daughter with a class project. She wants the cake with the 3D duck on it. I am worried that if i use a basic cake mix that the duck will fall apart from being so moist. Is there any tips?

I made the 3D duck using a boxed cake mix a couple years ago and didn't have a single problem with it.
