How do you determine serving sizes? I need to make a cake for 45 people. I was going to make a 6 inch baseball cap cake from the confetti cakes cookbook (serves 10-15) and then use a 12" square pane for a base...

is there a chart or something that will tell you how to forecast how many a cake will serve?

I did a search, but didnt' see it...
