when making from a mix and enhancing with extra egg, cup sugar, flour and the water and oil - what flavor pudding should I use?

i've used white chocolate to enhance and works great

i make box cakes. but, red velvet, i make from scratch. but i would say ,you would use chocolate pudding. i do believe a recipe for a box, red velvet is under the recipes . hth

there IS a recipe on here. it looks great to make. it does not require pudding. but all the enhancers. starts with the box mix. hth

No no no no....Red Velvet is so easy made from scratch....don't do that to it...please. Try this one. This is what I use and people who do not like red velvet love this. I even booked a wedding cake with it and the groom normally hates red velvet!
