Do all WASC recipes require a cake mix? I am trying to get away from using a cake mix instead I want to make from scratch. I am not sure if I am going in the right direction!

Hey cakelady_nikki,
I did a Google search and all the WASC recipes I saw used a cake mix. If you could find a good white cake recipe to use as your base and then add the sourcream, almond extract and other WASC ingredients that may be your best bet. Ill say this I use the WASC recipe with the box and I love it.
Good Luck,

Thank you so much I have been working on a different recipe and I wanted to compare to this one. icon_smile.gif Everyone says how great the box version is and how easy it is to transition to other flavors. I can't wait to try it I will be in my kitchen trying it out!
