I'm not sure what do. I have a customer that ordered a three tier 1st birthday cake. Do I deliver it or does she pick up? I don't usually do cakes this large so my customers usually just pick them up.

Well..that is up to you.If you deliver it then make sure you charge for the delivery...If they want to pick it up then be sure they understand that after it leaves your care..it is no longer your responsibilty so whatever happens to it is their problem.I have had customers pickup 3 tiered cakes and they got there in one piece. It really is up to you but don't deliver for free.It is your time and gas so charge accordingly.

i would make sure that you told them that they need to make room in the car for the box to sit FLAT. i've had so many people that don't realize that sitting a stacked cake in the car seat will make it lean.
