My SIL is requesting a cake for her daughter 4th birthday and I am looking for a great lemon filling recipe that can be left out and still be ediable. Her birthday is June 22 in temecula CA so it will be hot out..

Hope someone can help me please.....

Also a side note if you have a great strawberry filling as well....I made a strawberry cheese cake filling but I am worried that it will spoil if left out.

Thank you all!!!!!

Simple and a true hit...1/4-1/2 cup lemon curd to 1 cup buttercream. Start out with the 1/4 cup and then add more if you want it more tart and lemony. It's my biggest seller!
