Good Morning... I covered a cake for easter using Rhondas MMF. I love it, easy to use and easy to make. The cake covered great, no wrinkles at the bottom or anything.

Now that it has set overnight it seems the fondant has settled and now it is lumpy. I know this is just the cake underneath but whats the best way to prevent this. I used crusting buttercream underneath, just a thin layer.
Wont let me attach it so I will put them in my albums

Thank you in advance

Hi, I use quite a bit of bc under my fondant. Not too much but thicker than a crumbcoat. I think if you buy Sugarshack's Bc video, you will benifit from it. Because I did! icon_biggrin.gif

Did you let the cake settle before covering it? After baking and filling, I wrap my cakes in plastic wrap and let them settle overnight before I cover them.
