Are there any cake supply stores in your area? I would try there first so you don't have to worry about shipping costs, delivery times, etc.

I'm a big fan of avalon deco dot com. David ships fast and I'm pretty sure he's a small biz like me, and I like to give my $ to other small businesses.

I've told this story many times before. One day when I called to place an order, the phones were forwarded to his house (although the biz may be IN his house) because he was there caring for his sick son. That endeared him to me forever.

I also learned from some of the other decorator's that they use www.Dianescakesandmore.com and she makes beautiful flowers and her prices are very reasonable, and I think she is a amall biz also.
