sharon k1913 i totally hear you. I recently graduated from nursing school and though I love love love my job i love doing cakes even more. Another nurse and I swap stories and tips and I even got her into this website. Its fun to have someone to talk shop with lol bc my husband just doesnt get it. Anyways, completely self taught and let me tell you patience is what it takes. Most of the time its about diving in and trying it yourself and seeing what works for you. But thats how I learn hands on and go for it.
