and if so, how do you work it? What sort of contract and how do you like the arrangement? A decorator moved to my area about a month ago and came in looking for a job. I'm not really in a position to hire right now but I took her info for future reference. She came in yesterday and asked me about renting space because she had put an ad in the local paper to do cakes and wants to cover her bases if she gets a call. I just need some opionions from you guys! What's your take on this??

I have heard of other type of business' renting there kitchens to bakers. But a bakery renting to what is baically your competition just seems like it wouldn't be the best idea.

I am currently renting a shared commerical kitchen but in the future I would like my own shop and my idea is to rent my kitchen out to 1 or 2 small non cake businesses...candy maker, cookied baker, bagel baker ect.

You don't want to rent your space to your competitor.
