I made spiderman head ahead of time....problem is I put it on a dowel rod and balanced the head on a vase....now............how am I going to get the head off there and onto the cake without messing it all up??????? Is there a way to get out of how I painted myself into a corner icon_redface.gif

slide 2 off set spatulas (get someone to assist you) right under and LIFT! carefully...

yes but.....lol.......your gonna love this..........you know the thick plastic dowels you can cut to support tiers...well I stuck one up inside this dang head........ahhhhhhhhh......thought it was a good way to hold it up and pipe haha now I am in doodoo....

Can you set it in the freezer just long enough for it to get "firm"? Then it might move more easily. This really sounds like something I would do icon_surprised.gif

Shove skewers into his eyes and lift him off. Then cover the small holes with R/I.

It's not normally a good idea to stick your head in a vase icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif
Could you just not place your fingers inbetween the black piping around the base and lift gently? I think stiking skewers in your eyes is a good answer but as it is only styrofoam lifting from the bottom might be easier to repair. icon_rolleyes.gif

actually I did both...skewer in the eye and held the bottom a bit,,,it was stuck on the vase heheh had no choice....and then I repaired it.you guys are awesome thanks

now if you could give me courage to try a motorcycle cake ugh
