I think I pretty much said it! Doing the 3D dragon cake from Debbie Brown's book, only in purple and with red lips! Need to add cupcakes for additional servings, but want them themed to match...but I'm just at a loss of what to do that would be fairly simple, but cute. Any ideas please!!! TIA

I'm not familiar with Debbie's dragon, but what about topping the cupcakes with "metallic" dragon eggs or different types of treasures? Dragons are notorious for hoarding treasure icon_smile.gif

Could you just cover them with contrasting coloured fondant, blending like the scales? or flames?

I saw a picture of Debbie's dragon cake surrounded by cupcakes, which were iced with brown icing piped from the grass tip (to look like a nest), each one having a jellybean egg on top.

I just recently did this dinosaur which was for a first birthday so put these cupcakes with it. If it's for a birthday maybe you could go a similar route

Thanks! The birthday is at the premiere of "How to Tame Your Dragon". I'm torn between a nest and flames! Oye!

What about dinosaur footprints on each cupcake?

I ended up with gerbera daisies. Since it was a girly dragon and the birthday girl liked my flowers I went with it. It's in my photos. Thanks!
