I was wondering if anyone has ever frozen cupcakes. If so, how do you freeze and thaw BEFORE decorating. I want to decorate them later.. Also I am making cupcakes. My plan is to ice them white, and put an appleblossom, violet and daisy on top of each cupcake. Then I want to roll the edges in sprinkles. What tip should I use to ice them to make them look the best? 1M or a smooth round tip? Any ideas would be appreciated! THANKS!

I've frozen cupcakes many times. I put them in a carboard box, lay a piece of waxed paper over the tops, put the top on the box and wrap the box in plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil. They'll be fine for up to a month like this. When thawing, unwrap completely, remove lid and wax paper. To speed thawing, remove cupcakes from box and place spread out on a cooling rack. I like to use tip 2D for my cupcakes.
