This is a delicious recipe. I've used both Satin Ice and MFF to cover this cake. Good Luck.

I used this recipe once for a wine box cake. I technically didn't cover the whole cake w/ fondant, I just used mmf panels and those worked fine.

did you leave the fondant on when you ate the cake, or did they people you make the cake for leave the fondant on?

I cover that recipe in Satin Ice fondant regularly with no problems. I'm not at the event when they eat the cake so I don't know what the guests did with the fondant.
