Hello!

I have to make a 5 tier topsy turvy wedding cake for a friend. She wants the cake to be fake (dummies) except for the bottom tier which she wants to be real cake. If I assemble the cake in this way, wont the second tier be shorter than the rest because I will have to insert it into the bottom tier? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to assemble a cake like this? I appreciate any help. Thank you so much!

There are several different ways to construct a topsy turvy cake. icon_smile.gif

If you used the wedge construction method there would be not cutting into the bottom tier:
(and you wouldn't need to buy special topsy turvy dummies, either.)
