I'm doing a bunch of sesame characters. There is NO way I'm going to have time to mix all the colors and do all the characters at one sitting.
Can I do them in stages?
I can do outlines and let them sit and then move on to the first color.
How long can you wait in between? Days?

Thanks!

I think that would be fine. The only possible problem would be breakage, if you were moving them several times or a change in temp that may discolor the choc-I think this is unlikely.
I just did about 20 zoo animals (only 2 colors) and lined the patterns up along the edge of the table, and went one to the next-doing the outlines and then by the time I got back to the first-it was ready for the second color. If they weren't, I slid them onto a small cutting board and popped them in the fridge for about 30sec. Keep the bags of choc on a heating pad set to low. Fold the heating pad over the top of the bags. Line the heating pad with a paper towel, in case a bit of choc drips out.
HTH!
