I am doing a TT cake and my bottom tier looks pretty rough after icing in BC. It's kind of "bumpy", should I add another layer of BC before covering in SI, will these bumps all show through no matter what? Any other suggestions? HELP?? This cake is due tonight, but I would rather get it done by noon, as I have a big messy house to clean up today too!
I would add an other layer of BC... and put it back in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set.. Then cover it with fondant..
