Does anyone know, roughly, how many 10 inch tiers a 10 pound bucket of fondant will cover? I looked on the Sweet Art site, and it doesn't say.
I need to cover 3- 10 inch tiers, 1 - 12 inch, and 1-8 inch tier.

http://www.wilton.com/decorating/fondant/fondant-coverage-chart.cfm

36oz for 10x4in
48oz for 12x4in
24ox for 8x4in

180oz for the 5 tiers, so if I'm doing my math right you need about 11.25lbs. There is usually excess when covering cakes, atleast when I have done it. I'd start with the larger cakes, that way if you have to stretch it a little or roll it thinner you can do that on the smaller cake.
