Hi,

I am interested in the Cake Boss software but wondered if it is compatable for UK users.

Has anyone from the UK used it and what do you think of it??

Also is there anything similar that is in the UK?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I'm in the UK (Surrey) and use CakeBoss.

I started off with a spreadsheet, but found that it was getting more and more complicated to price up cakes, and updating prices was a complete pain.

I purchased CakeBoss around 2 months ago, and although it took me about a week to enter in all my data, now I've done that, it's marvellous icon_biggrin.gif I can keep track of all costs, quote with ease, have an official looking invoice, and the customer tracking is great too.

Works fine in the UK, automatically loads in £ rather than $, and you can pick and mix between metric and imperial, which is great, as my fruitcakes, marzipan and s/paste are all metric, and the HD recipie is of course in imperial.

I've not found a similar product in the UK, heard rumours that squires were working on one, but not heard anything else.

HTH x

Thanks LauraJayne.

I have been tempted to order it for a while but wasn't sure if it worked over here or if it was worth the money.

If I decide to buy I will let you know how I get on. icon_biggrin.gif
