Love Khalstead's Modified Nfsc And My New Dobord

Not only am I in love with Khalstead's modified NFSC recipe, but I used it on my new Dobord for the first time! This is definitely the recipe I am going to use to make 600 cookies for my daughter's cookie cake favors.
They are not only delicious, and it hardly spreads at all. And the Dobord makes such a difference. My practice batch went so fast (and so are the cookies).
I noticed I can even roll out fondant on the board and it's great for that.
Thank you Khalstead for all your hard work on this recipe!
I also want to thank everyone on this site with all their help for me. I appreciate it very much.

I figured I'd like using the DoBord, but didn't realize how much I'd LOVE using it! Great cookie tool!
600 cookies? WOW.
Yup, 600.
We're figuring about 200 people - my daughter and her future husband are in their late 30's (first marriage) and they have lots of friends and family.
So I'll be making Martha Stewart's cookie cake favor. I've bought the boxes, ribbon, flower mold....now just a few months and I can start making the cookies. I'm using an impression mat for the Satin Ice fondant. If I must say so myself, they look darn good.
The Dobord is magic!
I just got a DoBord also and LOVE it!!! Knew I would like it but absolutely love it. Looking forward to seeing your cookie favors!
