seriously I get all the odd requests. I need to make a cake that is a car book about Mustangs with a black chihuahua on top. So I guess I should make the chihuahua out of fondant. I really am not sure what would be the best way to go about making this any help would be great.

Depending on how big you want the chihuahua , you could make it out of gumpaste, then it could be saved as a keepsake afterwards. If it needs to be bigger you could shape it from rice crispy treats then cover it with fondant. The RCT method makes it lighter than solid fondant.
