All this crazy rain! It's so humid that my fondant figures that I need for tomorrow won't stiffen up...have any of you ever put fondant in a food dehydrator with good results? Thanks!!

I don't have a food dehydrator so I can't say if it would work or not. I do know that the rain is driving me nuts too! As for fondant figures...I add tylose or do a 50/50 fondant gumpaste mix so that my figures dry faster. May help for next time..not sure what to tell you about this time.

Someone said in a past post that they put the fondant in the oven but I haven't ever tried it and in my brain I feel like it wouldn't work maybe if you do a search in the archives you could find advice? Sorry I'm not a lot of help!

If you put them in the oven with just the light on it will help or put them in front of a fan!!!

Thanks for the input...I forgot to add tylose to my MMF...live and learn! The cake turned out just fine with a slight adjustment from the original design!
