Help......... I am painting a gumpaste piece. I mixed gel color with Vodka and am using a small paintbrush. The problem is that the color is all streaky. What am I doing wrong?

You may have too much of the vodka mixed it. Also I have found when painting you have to do a coat and let it dry before you go back over it. If you keep painting over the same spot it will pick up color and leave it streaky.
