Hi,

I'm considering purchasing some of these. I was wondering for those who have used them, what size of cakes can the hold? Looking at them, I guess I'm wondering what the "hip" bones measure to know what size of cake they will hold.

I know Bronwen has done classes with these, and I'm also curious if someone who has not taken the class can use them easily?

Thanks for any help!
Ivy

I don't know, but I am betting if you email her, she would let you know what sizes would work.

Hold on let me look at mine. It holds a 6 in round. I took her class and we made a clown. I think he's in my pictures.

hmmm maybe. I measured the plexiglass plate and it's a 6 in. Maybe we did, I honestly can't remember.

We used 8" rounds in the clown class I took - we stacked 4 - 8" rounds.

That's what we must have done too! Thanks for setting me straight!

thank you thank you! That helps me a lot with figuring out what I need to do to make a 3D Elmer Fudd! Should be a challenge, but I think the bones will be great!

The only retail outlet that I know of is Caljava. They should have some back in stock within a few weeks. E-mail them to inquire - they may be able to get some for you quickly.
