What is tylose powder? What is the best way to use it?
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Tylose is a white powder that's an ingredient in gumpaste. It can also be kneaded into fondant to give it more body and help it dry faster. You can buy tylose online or at a cake supply shop...not all of them carry it and the craft stores don't carry it.

You can also mix a little tylose with some water to make gum glue.

its also compleatly edible (and i havent notice it change the flavour of fondant)
its good for using in fondant if you are making any type of model as it helps the model to keep its shape and stops it from "settling"
when using with fondant use 1tbsp per 8oz fondant ( thats what i use anyway)
