I have my first Competition coming up and trying to get everything together. my little business has been growing and i'm in the process of getting my portfolio done instead of just having pics on the website.

I'm not sure what kind of room I'll have on the table (it's not a really big competition) and i'm waiting on an email back from the coordinator for table assignments, etc. but the guidelines say that I can bring my own serving plates for the judges which i plan to do, but I also plan to have a small (4x6 or 5x7) glass frame with my logo, name on it and I was also planning on putting my portfolio on the table as well for passers by and potential clients. Is that something that you normally do in competitions? the way they have marketed it, there will be vendors there of course and they are marketing to brides, etc.

just wanted your thoughts.

thanks!

If this is a judged competition i would highly doubt that you would be able to display anything other then the cake on the table.
