I'm looking for ideas for a gingerbread house (made of cake) that has been through the ravages of a hard winter and how it might look at the beginning of our New England mud-season....candy roof-tiles falling off, etc. Any thoughts?

iceicles from r.i hanging from the roof and window leges.. maybe some cracked candy window panes? dusted with p.s of course. depends how ravadged you want it! you could have the door hanging off at a sort of angle., same with the window shutters.

id make the doors and window shutters from cookies. as for the cadie windows you just melt the candie and pur into a frame that you then attach to the window.. if im making snese??? =s sorry!

Thanks so much for the ideas! I'll use them all. By the way, it's mud season here, so I'll be adding a muddy pathway.
