I haven't tried it before, but a friend who is new to decorating cookies wants to stand a cookie up on a cupcake. Does anyone have any hints for making the cookie stay in place? Thanks!

you could bake it on a stick and then stick the stick down into the cupcake, it couldn't be a cookie that's bigger or heavier than the cupcake itself though

yep, that's what I've done... bake the cookie on a stick, then just insert into cupcake when ready. AS long as the stick is long enough to reach the bottom of the cupcake, it should hold the cookie without any problem.

Or you can bake mini cookies; those arent too heavy and can be stuck into the cupcake.
