Hi,
Does anyone know where to get a large oval cutout about 3" by 4"
I need to make a oval shape out of fondant and put initials on it.
Does anyone know where to get high end looking script letters
so I do not have to do this freehand or is freehand the way to go?
Thanks for all your help

Do you have a computer program like Microsoft Publisher or an art program that will make an oval shape that you could print? You could use that as the pattern for the fondant. You could also use computer fonts for the script. You print out your name/message, then cover that with plastic wrap. Roll your fondant into thin "snakes" and shape your letters over the plastic, using the printed sheet as your guide.

You can do exactly as poohsmomma said - in Microsoft Word.
Insert

AutoShape

Choose the Oval shape
Click and drag to desired shape.
Right click - Add Text.
You can pick any font you want.

I do any font I want by tracing on wax paper with chocolate. Once it sets up, you can gently use a small icing spatula to scoop the letters up and 'glue' to your plaque. icon_smile.gif
