Using Chef Stefs southern red velvet cake recipe, it says 1 ounce of red food coloring. Is this the liquid food coloring. I use gels most often and paste for icing, but I have the liquid.
I'm just asking because I don't know if using liquid coloring will mess up the consistency of the cake?
