I am so excited!!! I just found a cheesecake extract and hi-ratio shortening at a local store. Do you think the cheesecake extract would tast good in a buttercream?

Is it the Lorann brand? Yes it's good in everything.

the lorann cheesecake extract is amazing. I use it in my icing, in my cake batter ... it's one of the most versatile ones I find.

Does anyone know if I use the lorann's cheesecake extract in buttercream dream will it taste like cream cheese icing? I plan on trying it but just wanted to know if anyone has tried it already and if so, how much of the extract do you use....

TIA

FYI: I asked at my local cake decorating store and was told the cheesecake flavor goes bad fast in comparison to the other Lorann flavors. He offered to order it in for me, but I declined because I didn't want him to have stock on hand going bad just because I wanted to try it.
