What do you think the stars are attached to. I have always seen floral wire green and silver. Is this floral wire??

I PM the cake artist, hoping I might get a quicker response this way...

These look to be attached to regular medium guage foral wire to hold the stars and stand straight up..The only thing is they are not food safe and would have to be wrapped in some sort of food safe tape etc...

I use floral picks to stick my wires in first, then insert into the cake, so there is no food contact.

I'm thinking floral wire also. I think the picture is playing tricks with the color. I'd do the silver. I wrap my ends in fondant, some people dip into chocolate (for some reason I've always wondered about the chocolate staying in the cake when you pulled them out)
