MY NAME IS SARA, MY GRANDSON IT TURNS YEARS AND I GO HIM TO MAKE A CAKE DE SAURIAN DINO AND A VOLCANO, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW AND IF THEY CAN EXPLAIN TO ME AS MAKING THE EFFECT OF THE SMOKE AND LIKE IT IS THE DRY ICE. HE WILL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL TO MAKE HAPPY TO MY GRANDSON.
LOVE, SARA
I made a volcano cake last year. There was a hole in the top of the cake the size of a shot glass-the dad of the girl owned a restaurant and got one from the bar. The shot glass fit into the hole so that it could not be seen. He dropped a piece of dry ice in and added some water. We got the effect without damaging the cake-easy and great!
My local grocery store (SaveMart) carries it. I did a cake like that for my daughters Luau/Graduation/18th bday, and I did it with dry ice too, although honestly, the results were extremely under-whelming. So...try it ahead of time to make sure it's the results you like.
