I also have the First Impressions mold (it has 3 bead sizes ). The company is based in S. Florida and have high quality products. They ship very quickly.

Hi "katie" - I'm not sure if they'll ship to the UK or not. I have their phone number and will call for you. The owners and employees are very pleasant to deal with. I'll post the information for you after I speak with them today.

I have the CK one too - my reasoning for getting it is that the pearls are completely round, not flat on one side like the first impressions one makes.

I will check those out too. I would rather have rounded beading. icon_biggrin.gif

I have 3 brands of bead molds. Only first impressions work for me.

It depends on what I'm doing. I have the CK ones and love them when I want the rounded look. But for some things, having a flat back with works great. I make my own mold in this case.

Do you use these molds to make individual pearls as well? All the molds I've seen make strings. I need to make individual black pearls for the edge of the cake. Will these molds work for that, or is there something else that is used for that?

Yes-these do. I just make the string and then cut them apart.
