Ri Stringwork...fridge?

I am planning a cake and wanted to try doing some RI stringwork...if I put it in the fridge will the moisture ruin my strings?

I would not take the chance with stringwork. It might not melt - but then again, it might. It's so delicate.

thanks for your response...but i didnt see it until a couple days later. so i just went ahead and did the strings anyway and crossed my fingers! they were fine-thank goodess...no problems at all. just wanted to post that incase someone else was looking for the same thing. i posted the finished cake if you want to take a look...its the pretty baby cake.
