I need know if I am going to use creamers as substitute how much sugar should I use. For example if the recipe calls for 2 cups sugar and I am going to use the creamer instead of milk how much sugar do I need. I don't like cakes that is overpowering and sweet.

When I have used liquid creamer instead of milk to thin buttercream I haven't adjusted the powdered sugar amount.

For icing or for cake? For icing I don't substitute, but if for cake it depends on the recipe - I have had some sink when I used creamer and had to adjust.
