Quick question. I am going to be sculpting a radio out of cereal treats and then covering with fondant. What do I spread on the treats to make the fondant stick? Thanks!

I cover them with a very thin layer of buttercream or piping gel.

Add more cereal, crush it, and nix the butter from the recipe. I didn't do those things and I had MAJOR issues because it was too soft, and stayed too soft. icon_smile.gif

To the OP: butter cream or piping gel will work well.

Good luck!

For sculpting, I literally just nuke some marshmallows, crush some rice krispies and mix them together until I get the consistency I need. Easy peasy.
