i did try to do a search for links and such here but i got lost lol..

I"m looking for sources that sell edible gems etc. i'm looking particularly for a large diamond. at least 2-3 inches tall (i hope lol)

I've been "enthusiastically" asked to do a cake for an upcoming scholarship program and the theme is "get a clue" I plan to do the main cake as Sherlock holme's bag he carried his things in (looks kinda like a doctors bag) with it partially open and some gems sticking out.. He'll be posed on top of the cake made of fondant/gumpaste holding a magnifying glass. footprints will appear along the cake "bag" and then continue off.. below will be several mini cake "footprints" with the girls names on them leading to the program's name etc also created in fondant.

hm not finding one that large. i'd even settle for making one if i could find a mold that big. if it was cost efficient. ah well. was a nice idea. may have to find one of those ring pop things lol
