I will be making my son's birthday cake. I really want to try the topsy turvy but he wants the movie theme with a tub of popcorn and a movie reel. So I thought if I did a two tier topsy turvy, the bottom being the movie reel and the tub of popcorn on top. Will that look right with the movie reel being an odd shape like the topsy turvy are??? Please any help/ideas would be greatly apppreciated.

Thanks

What if you made the bottom tier look like one (or two 1" stacked) movie reels that are resting on top of something so that it's angled to help with the topsy-turvy look... hmm, movie theme... it could be resting on a box of candies, or a stack of movie stubs, or simply cover the 'wedged' area with stars and a "red carpet"... can't wait to see what you come up with!

What about going the Whimsy look instead of the topsy turvy look?

What about doing the movie reel tier like this: http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1473142

Then putting your popcorn bucket on top?
