Hi. I bought a few silicone butterfly molds and would like to make butterflies for my daughter's birthday cake. Would you recommend I use poured sugar or isomalt? I would like any guidance available as I am new to this. Any tips, suggestions.... What would I then use to paint details on the butterflies? Pictures would be great too.... anything.... icon_smile.gif

I use smashed jolly rancher candies. Check my pix, I have two flower pot cakes where I did jolly rancher butterflies. Here's a link to the thread where I detailed how to do them: http://forum.cakecentral.com/how-to-make-stained-glass-ftopicp-2786563.html#2786563
