Our neighbor is having a casual potluck get together Tuesday night.


On April 17th I decided to give up cake central forum for Lent.

I am leaving february 20th to visit my sister in Lions Bay and attend the closing winter olympic ceremony.

Will be attending my church's annual pancake supper that night.

Crayfish boil (with corn, potatoes, mushrooms, garlic, sausage), and King Cake. Lots and lots of King Cake.

Since it's "fat Tuesday" tomorrow, I always make my family beignets for breakfast.

We took our kids to New Orleans the Feb before Katrina. The restaurants there are incredible. One of our favorites...beignets at Cafe du Monde each morning. YUMMY!

I LOOOOVE beignets. I haven't made any in a while. Maybe it's time to!
